Shifts and solutions engaging the conscious and unconscious mind
Space and movement play a powerful role in activating both the conscious and unconscious mind, leading to new perspectives, breakthroughs, and solutions. This movement helps bypass mental blocks and creates opportunities for insights to arise organically, opening up cognitive and emotional space for novel thinking.

Perspectives and different ways of viewing the issue of outcome
Using space and movement invites us to shift not just our physical position, but also our mental and emotional stance and thus creates opportunities to see a problem, or outcome, from fresh, previously unavailable perspectives.

Accessing and applying resources
Incorporating space and movement into coaching sessions can significantly enhance a client’s ability to access their inner resources—those innate capacities such as insight, resilience, creativity, and confidence that support growth and transformation.

Creating mental and emotional space
When utilising space and movement, each space in the room can symbolise situations, goals, fears or resources and allows the client to externalise their internal world. This naturally creates the mental and emotional space for them to experience a change, shift or realisation. Changing space also often allows and emotional release and profound insights.

Engaging the body to tap into unconscious feelings or insights
Neuroscience and somatic psychology increasingly support the idea that cognition is embodied. That means our emotions, memories, and even decision-making processes are not confined to the brain but are distributed throughout the nervous system. When we invite clients to move, we tap into these body-based processes and gain access to nonverbal intelligence.
During the course we will cover:
The power of utilising space for self-coaching
How space enhances realisation, deeper knowledge and shifts in a coaching context
Space and the connection to unconscious shifts
Space and accessing resources
Bringing new resources back into the problem
7 new techniques utilising space in a self-coaching and coaching context
For each technique you will have the opportunity to coach and be coached and a workbook with all techniques will be provided. If the weather allows we will also do some outside work (so bring suitable clothing with you).
As we previously mentioned, to our knowledge, this is not a course that you will see anywhere else and, therefore, gives you a unique chance to enhance your client and self-coaching ability exponentially.
The areas the techniques will focus on include:
Procrastination and lack of focus
Shifting a problem state
Lack of alignment
Conflicting parts
Imposter syndrome
Showing up as your authentic self
Reframing utilising space
Negotiation
Moving away from toxicity
Preparing and resourcing for change
Removing unconscious blocks and getting the unconscious mind on side
Stopping self-sabotage
